Stacy is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who provides psychotherapy and supportive counseling to adolescents (middle school aged and up) and adults. She has been a practicing therapist for over 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. Her primary role as a therapist is helping her clients experience improved quality of life in their home and family environment, school or workplace, and within their interpersonal relationships. Most importantly, Stacy strives to pave the way for her clients to achieve a sense of personal peace, confidence, and ease within themselves. Stacy has also been an Adjunct Professor at Boston College School of Social Work since 2015. Stacy is trained in ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and uses that with ongoing clients and also as an adjunct treatment for clients in treatment with other providers.

Stacy's approach
Stacy is deeply committed to creating a therapeutic setting that is warm, comfortable, and nonjudgmental. She places great value on her relationships with her clients and works to engage them in a collaborative partnership that is truthful and accepting. When working with adolescents, Stacy strongly believe that is important to work collaboratively with parents and other caregivers, welcoming feedback as often as possible. She also believes that if there are school-based issues, that it is necessary to collaborate with the child's or adolescent's school.
Throughout the course of treatment, you are likely to touch on issues related to mood, behavior, coping strategies, and life skills, and ultimately, enhancing your ability to create and sustain healthy and fulfilling relationships. From the first session, you will be treated warmly, attentively, and respectfully. Stacy is dedicated to helping her clients achieve outcomes that are both rewarding and enduring. Your therapy plan will be tailored individually to reflect your values, needs, interests, and natural strengths and will be a collaborative effort between therapist and client.
